How to Talk About Your Daily Routine
Every day, people do the same things. This is your daily routine. It helps you talk about time and actions in English.
What Do You Do in the Morning?
I wake up at 7 am. I brush my teeth. Then I eat breakfast. I like eggs and bread. After that, I get dressed.
You can say: "I wake up. I wash my face. I drink coffee."
What Happens at Work or School?
I go to work by bus. I start at 9 am. I work on my computer. I talk to friends. Lunch is at 1 pm.
Use words like: work, study, eat, play. Say "I eat lunch with my family."
- I finish work at 5 pm.
- I come home.
- I cook dinner.
Evening Time and Bed
In the evening, I watch TV. I read a book. I go to bed at 10 pm.
Your turn: What is your routine? Tell a friend: "I exercise in the evening."
